Launched as the first ever performance base layer in 1974, this piece has only gotten better and is still offered by Helly Hansen in this classic crew design. Light Weight, 100% Polypropylene, eyelet construction, 125g/m2. Long sleeved crew shirt with rapid moisture transporttation. Great underlayer for any sporting activity. LIFA keeps you drier! As the layer is directly next to the skin, the rate of moisture transmission it delivers is crucial. Unlike the majority of base layers in the market, LIFA is made from polypropylene and not polyester. Tests have proven polypropylene to be 40 times more efficient than polyester at transporting moisture away from your body, while still keeping you warm. The result--you stay drier!
