Softshell system ski jacket, great flexibility
This is a very nice system 3-in-1 ski jacket, consisting basically of 2 soft shell jackets. Outside shell is a waterproof softshell, inside liner is an insulating softshell. Both can be worn separately of course, thus the 3-in-1. Nice thing about the jacket is the fact that both layers are a softshell, which adds good amount of flex to the jacket while keeping the bulk down. The liner attaches to the shell via snaps inside both sleeves and through a loop at the back. I have the entire set with pants and it's working great. The jacket is warm, even while sitting on the chair yet it allows for a great range of motion while downhill skiing or just traversing. The jacket has definitely a snug fit, but all I wear under is a wool base layer that keeps my set-up nicely lightweight and breathable.
Warm fleece
I like this fleece jacket because it's warm and thick, adding good layer of insulation for some pretty cold conditions. Also, because it's made of thicker fleece it keeps the shape nicely, making it look good even after couple washes. I had the jacket for about 4 months now and there are no issues with piling or otherwise. I'm quite happy with my purchase, I use the jacket all the time
Multipurpose soft shell jacket
This is a very nice soft shell jacket. Evidently there is a waterproof membrane inside the fabric, but because the seams are not taped or glued or whatever they cannot call it waterproof. I like the larger more roomy cut of the jacket that allows for easy layering. One issue I have with the jacket is the fact that arms are not fully articulated, so any activity such as rock climbing might be little tricky. But overall it's a sweet and versatile jacket that fits the bill.
