Dale of Norway is a proud supplier to champions since 1956, each year introducing a new sweater for the Norwegian ski teams. Are, Sweden is home to the 2007 World Champions, and the official sweater for the Norwegian athletes. The Are ski sweater is produced in the softest Merino quality with design inspired by the famous Cortina sweater. Cortina was the first sweater developed for the National Norwegian Ski Teams, and the first official sweater for the Norwegian athletes during the 1956 Olympic Games in Cortina, Italy. Since then, Dale keeps working with the athletes to design the best sweaters possible- if a win doesn't come out of it, they certainly look good in the mean time.

Washing Instructions
Hand wash (104°F/40°C). Turn inside out. Use a mild washing detergent. Squeeze gently, do not wring. Rinse well. Dry on a flat surface, pull gently into shape if necessary. Do not dry in sunshine or in a tumble dryer. Can be pressed, using wool setting. This garment can be dry cleaned, but dry cleaning may change the brightness of the colors and the softness of the wool. Store knitted garments folded, not hanging.
