Awesome jacket
I was looking for a stretchy winter jacket and The North Face bionic jacket caught my attention. I've been wearing the jacket for past two seasons and it kept me plenty warm when combining with the base layer underneath. I'd take a waterproof shell with my in my backpack for emergency, but had rarely used it. The jacket seems to be pretty waterproof by itself, even though the store staff told me it is categorized as water resistant due to the fact that it does not have taped seams. This makes sense, but it seems like for everyday little drizzle the jacket works just fine. Went through several water cycles and the fabric seems to be holding pretty well. Overall, great jacket just like most of the stuff North Face makes. And yes, I would recommend it to a friend.
Good looking softshell
Many of my friends have picked this jacket and they swear by it so I took the plunge too and have decided to purchase a North Face jacket. I must say it's a pretty nice and universal jacket. I wear it at many occasions and it feels nice, soft and warm. Also good with pair of jeans. It seems to be pretty durable too, which is good because I tend to destroy clothing quite often. So far so good, I have nothing but good things to say about this nice softshell.
